We had seen this place on TLC in Taiwan, and Hui-chen expressed an interest in visiting there. So, naturally I had to take her. Where are we talking about?
We headed to Revere, Massachusetts.
This is Revere Beach. During the summertime, this beach is usually packed with people enjoying the New England summer. But today was a rainy day so the beach was deserted.
Our destination is ahead….
Once we make it up to the shelters, it’s time to park the car.
We crossed the street,
and arrived at famous Kelly’s! This famous food destination is known for roast beef, but also for something else, which we will see in a few moments.
Seagulls are everywhere in this area, and they are something of a problem.
People often ignore these signs and feed the seagulls, which causes them to view humans as a source of food. During our visit to Kelly’s we had to keep our eye on these pesky birds and shoo them away when they got too close.
We got our food and sat down at one of the outdoor tables.
Hui-chen unpacks her meal, with anticipation. You could say that I’ve built up the anticipation by talking about Kelly’s on the way there.
And this is what we got: Kelly’s famous fried clam plates!
Just look at those fried clams! The onion rings were unbelievable too! Kelly’s did not disappoint!
This is our final shot of the clam plate, showing the tartar sauce, which was also very good.
