The Fourth Annual Arizona BBQ Festival in Scottsdale’s Salt Rivers Field is expecting over 15,000 attendees on April 20. One of the newest additions to this event is the Redneck Games Arena. While there will be many hilarious games occurring, there will also be more than 25 BBQ stands circulating throughout the event. There is no question of how seriously delicious the variety of BBQ will be at the event; but this year they wanted to add more fun by embracing Redneck culture with beer pong and mullets.
The Redneck Games Arena will feature arm wrestling, watermelon seed spitting, toilet seat horseshoe games, as well as hubcap hurling. This year there will be a flavored vodka tent for the adults, and bull rides, helicopter rides, and a huge kid zone for the rest.
The event will also feature a Hooters wing eating contest, live music ranging from metal to 80’s cover bands, and a BBQ cooking class to perfect your BBQ skills just in time for summer.
