Two East Bay experiences and realities I experienced when I first arrived in the Bay Area (less than three years ago) which have not changed:
1. When you exchange cards outside the tech/web community, people often forget to give you their email. Phone only and sometimes, not even a last name.
2. Traffic, baby traffic. The reason I decided not to move there. Sadly, everytime an East Bayer tells me the bridge isn’t bad, I keep thinking it must be because they have grown accustomed to the commute.
