The San Francisco Flower and Garden Show brought two amazing treats: connections to two new artists and designers Inger Jossart, originally from Costa Rivca and native-Californian Gina Barbosa. I ended up with a hanging copper heart and a painting that melted me, long before I learned ‘its’ meaning.
Both are amazing creative artists and creators, women I plan to follow and so should you. Creative design is but one aspect, an important one, but how they create is of equal value in my opinion. Their hearts, their motives, their design…………..
Below, Gina signing a painting I purchased from her this weekend.. Her idea behind this one was contentment. Hard to resist. The feminine image is giving and receiving a rose, and content on both giving or receiving. Is it mystery or fact? Powerful if you let it be. Her website has a number of other paintings worth purusing.
Check out Inger Jossart’s site at Garden Jewelry.com. Originally from Costa Rica, she lives in Marin now with her husband and children. She was truly a treasure to meet.
