For a healthy, relaxing and educational getaway, try the Stanford Inn by the Sea on California’s Mendocino Coast. If you would rather get off the property, the location on Big River provides easy access to canoeing, bike trails, nearby beaches and headlands, and Mendocino’s shops, art galleries and restaurants.
