Zipsite of Snowdonia National Park. For those looking to add a new adventure to their bucket list, you will now be able to ride the longest zipline in the northern hemisphere in Wales, United Kingdom. It opened on March 29, 2013. Zip World Snowdonia‘s Big Zipper extends for over one mile over the dramatic scenery of Penrhyn Quarry on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, and will propel fliers 700 feet off the ground at about 80 miles per hour. What also makes the experience unique is it includes an informational tour of the historical quarry while riding in military vehicles.
Want to see the attraction, but not sure you can handle it? Visitors also have the option to the the Little Zipper, which is about 0.3 miles in length and reaches speeds of around 50 miles per hour.
