… tucked in on the market square in Barceloneta, is this vintage vermut bar, open 09h-15.30h (& 19h-22h). On a Saturday or Sunday it is filled with the locals who come to have their morning vermut (of which there is a selection) and soda, accompanied by tapas… mejillones (muscles), or bacalao or jamón or bombas (potato filled with meat then fried). A delicious way to start Spanish Sunday (after the gym, of course!)
