Nowadays there are so many constant reminders about being green and living an eco-friendly lifestyle that sometimes all the tips, hints and horrifying images can be a bit overwhelming. That is exactly why some brands are spreading their design feelers into creating eco-chic vinyls, and some even have stylish eco-reminders.
UK-based design group Hu2 recently launched their Flat Sharing Rules wall stickers which help keep users sane by reminding them of significant but easily forgotten things. But the stickers are also getting users saving water and electricity. The kitchen sticker reminds people to clear away the dishes from the sink and to clean up after themselves while the shower sticker reminds users to have shorter showers to save water and lower their bills by way of a shower sand-timer.
All of Hu2’s stickers are made form PVC-free self-adhesive (a bio material) and are 100% free of chlorine and plasticizers.
The eco-reminders are also a great product. The serious but fun stickers decorate light switches and are a reminder of where energy comes from or where it’s supposed to come from. They come in various design and are trendy.
You can also check out Barcelona-based company, Hommu, for some environmentally-friendly products of the same variety. They say they only use products that are manufactured according to the criteria of environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
