I recently had an opportunity to test out a new anti-aging product from an old brand favorite of mine: Lancome. Truth be told, I haven’t used Lancome in years since I’ve been so focused on organic and natural products and I must admit, I’m a fan of Eminence from Europe which is showing up in more and more spas that we review.
That said, I used to love one of Lancome’s mat moisturizer products so much in my twenties that I’d stock up at Duty Free every time I flew to Europe, which was often in those days. My friend Cristine who makes things happen in a magical way at the Neiman Marcus Union Square’s Lancome counter in the heart of San Francisco, invited me to test out a facial using some of Lancome’s anti-aging and Génifique line.
Génifique Youth Activating Second Skin Mask
In a single sheet mask, which contains a half bottle of Génifique Serum in a single application, works to reveal more rested, supple skin, leaving a cushiony soft and refreshed feeling.
The mask combines Lancôme’s patented Génifique complex and expertise in bio-cellulose technology. The texture adheres to the contours of your face, almost like a second skin and….it feels fabulous (see below).
And so, I tried it as part of a mini-facial at Neiman Marcus (thanks to their fabulous team, I was treated like a princess) and came home with glowing skin. Truly, glowing skin.
Afterwards, the skin looks lit from within, refined, and re-plumped. According to their site, 100% of women saw instant radiance, after just 1 application. I can attest to my skin feeling and looking radiant.
They suggest using their 7-day Génifique Serum for improvements in yes, radiance, but also plumping, smoothness, softness, suppleness and making the skin look and feel, rested. The mask does not contain Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates — bravo!
I tried the mask at home to see if it would yield similar results. I left it on for about 25 minutes (they suggest 20) and my skin was glowing and ready for the restaurant review we were preparing to do that same evening.
The mask should be discarded after a single use. Tip: apply before your usual beauty routine. They also say that the mask is suitable for sensitive skin.
Head over to the Lancome site for more information on this fabulous mask and some of their other products. https://www.lancome-usa.com.
Below are some of the other Lancome products they were promoting at Neiman Marcus recently although I haven’t tried any of them to speak to their merits and pros — hopefully we’ll have an opportunity to review more of their anti-aging products sometime in 2018.
