Sedona's Enchantment Resort, Where Luxury and Nature Meet Inside Boynton Canyon

Comments Off on Sedona's Enchantment Resort, Where Luxury and Nature Meet Inside Boynton Canyon

A five star luxe property set on 70 acres in Boynton Canyon less than ten miles from the center of Sedona Arizona, the Enchantment Resort is surrounded by majestic red rocks and natural beauty on all sides.

Nestled within a natural arena of vermillion-colored rock formations, Enchantment blends rugged Southwest beauty with luxury and exceptional high class service, which starts the moment you pull up. Someone is there to greet you and you’re quickly shepherded to your casita by following a golf cart. You’ll receive stories about the property and a fun list of all the things you can explore while you’re on the property.

If you want to bask in a luxurious oasis, you don’t really need to leave the grounds. Golf carts will drop you off from Point A to B if you don’t want to drive to the two restaurants on-site, their tapas bar, cafe, the tennis courts or spa.

The rooms are chic, modern and sophisticated with all the amenities you could hope for including bottled water delivered to your door. The upgraded rooms are more like mini-suites with Southwestern decor and they all feature outdoor decks with views of the red-rock mountains, as well as minibars and coffeemakers. A more standard “room” below.

Ours was a mini suite so had a fireplaces but no kitchenette although we had a fridge to put dinner leftovers and milk for coffee. Some suites and all their villas have full kitchens, which is a great option for families, as is the fact that there’s a daily children’s camp on the premises.

The bathrooms are incredibly spacious with oversized soaking tubs and walk in showers, two sinks and a sectioned off toilet as well as bright airy skylights. There’s also large closets inside the bathrooms if you’re planning to stay awhile and here, those luxurious robes are waiting for you as soon as you arrive.

A full casita is a great option for families as they come with kitchenettes and artfully arranged, lavishly furnished living rooms. Tasteful fine touches include wood beamed ceilings, casually sophisticated textiles and décor, an oversized pull-down queen bed and a beehive fireplace for added ambiance. Off the living room, glass sliding doors open up to a private deck equipped with a built-in gas grill.

There are three seperate rooms; a center studio room, and two private bedrooms – most include a plush king-sized bed and the other featuring two queen-sized beds. Each bedroom comes with a flat screen TV and separate outdoor deck.

Below are views of the canyon and beyond from our balcony while sipping team one morning.

Inside the grounds, it’s important to look up often when you’re taking a walk. Sheer beauty surrounds you on all sides.

They have both indoor and outdoor pools (we sampled both), 5 tennis courts and hiking trails. The resort fee includes access to the spa and the fitness center as well as complimentary daily wifi.

An outdoor sitting area where you can relax.

In addition to the fun kids camp (such a great option for families), there are tons of activities, lectures and classes you can take. Examples include a Labyrinth Meditaton Walk, Yoga, Wine Tasting, Hiking, Photography, Chanting, Make up Lectures, Cooking Demos, Organic Gardening, Stargazing, Watercolors, Pilates, Vision Board Collage Making (yes really), Juicing 101, Tai Chi, Tennis, a Sunrise Stretch class, a Golf Clinic, and films. They even have a “Diamonds in the Rough” mountain biking program which is taught by women, for women. How cool is that?

There’s no shortage of things to choose from, hence my comment about not needing to leave the property if you’re really in for a secluded oasis experience, where you can truly rejuvenate, even with a family in tow.

The cafe at the Mii Amo Spa serves breakfast (you can also dine outside), light bites and lunch and is a stone’s throw from the outside swimming pool.

Enchantment’s Mii Amo spa gives you plenty of pampering and a boat load of services that are sure to unwind and rejuvenate you (be sure read my spa write up — it offers quite possibly the widest array of classes and treatments of any spa I’ve experienced in the states).

There are plenty of places to relax and take in the serenity, wellness, pampering and spiritual energy that Sedona has to offer, all within a secluded oasis. Here you can just “be.”

A fun treat, they had a makeup artist in the vicinity of the indoor pool one afternoon I was there. Let’s get creative, shall we?

Also be sure to read my Mii Amo Spa review as well as my Che Ah Chi Restaurant write-up, where we dined for dinner one night on the property. Yum! Just to tease you and entice you to read more, take a look at this delicious gem from Che Ah Chi’s kitchen.
