Yes, what you’re looking at is an enormous dog peeing on the Orange County Museum of Art in Newport Beach, California. The 28-foot sculpture isn’t meant to be an insult to the institution, but is the latest work of contemporary artist Richard Jackson. Titled “Bad Dog,” the piece features a spray hose that lets out a stream of yellow paint onto the wall of the museum leaving a puddle of fake pee on the ground. The sculpture is part of the museum’s retrospective exhibit on Jackson’s work titled, “Ain’t Painting a Pain,” which will run until May 5, 2013. Above image is via Orange County Museum of Art.
